Visa Application Form
The applicant must complete the Chinese visa application form accurately and please make sure you only use the official website of the Chinese Embassy in the UK.
Gather Required Documents
Prepare all the necessary documents required for the visa application. Some commonly needed documents include:
Passport
Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond the intended duration of your stay in China, and has at least two blank visa pages otherwise, you will need to apply for a new passport.
Passport-sized photos
Follow the specific photo requirements as outlined by the Chinese Embassy.
Invitation letter
You will need to provide an Invitation letter from the Chinese company you are visiting. This letter must include details about your visit, including the purpose of your trip, the inviting company, your name, and the intended duration of your stay.
Schedule an Appointment
You will need to schedule an appointment to submit your application and biometric data. Check the Embassy’s website for specific instructions, the whole process can take up to 3-4 hours however our Visa consultants can often get you through the process in a fraction of that time.
Biometric Data Collection
As part of the visa process, you will be required to provide biometric data such as fingerprints. This process is usually straightforward and involves a quick scan of your fingerprints.
Wait for Processing
After submitting your Chinese visa application and biometric data you will need to wait for the embassy to process your documents, The time this takes vary depending on the type of visa, the consulate and other factors. It is advisable to apply for the visa well in advance of your intended travel date DO NOT BOOK TRAVEL until your visa has been approved.
Collect Your Visa
Once your visa is approved, you can collect your passport with the visa stamp from the Chinese visa processing centre.
